About the MUNICH Hash House Harriers

The Munich Hash House Harriers are a social/running club for runners, walkers, crawlers, well-wishers and thelike-minded.

We run (walk/stumble/stagger) every other Saturday afternoon at varying locations. Runs last about an hour, with stops, and are followed by some beer drinking- both traditional and contemporary- silliness and then dinner. Whatever happens after that is your own business.
We won't judge.

Haring forum

One of the things I like doing is starting forum threads to which nobody makes additions. Makes me feel special.

Some time ago I started a forum on advice for hares. Now, I can't be the sage of haring; I'm a Hare Razor not an über-hare damnit. So, please have a look at it and add suggestions or even contraditions. Don't worry, I'll still feel special.

But it does contain, I believe, useful information on how we do things in the MH3 and things to consider when laying a trail for us.

Erm, there's not more to say than that, I suppose.  Stinky Pinky and I invite you to discover the Allacher Forst on Saturday, May 3 at 5 pm (Summer Hash Time).

Considering the proximity to Cinqo de Mayo, let's go with a Mexican theme -- so wear your sombreros, ponchos, ride your horses to the hash, and run with your spurs on.  Expect to consume some tequila and perform a hat dance...

R#n 421 (St. George's Day R#n)

The original St. George's Day Hash stroke (who said stroke?) Frühlings Fest returns. Back by un-popular demand, your hares, AD/DC and Desperate do it again. Slightly shorter than last time's 2.5 hours, significantly less shiggy and slighly more sober, we may even manage to last the circle. Once said circle is closed, it's off to the Frühlings Fest - and it doesn't get any more English than that.

Non-Special R*n 420

HHHey all,

Our next r*n will take place this Saturday April 5 at 16:00. NOTE THAT TIME!! Start will be at the Perlach stop of the S6.

Take the S6 towards Aying. Hauptbahnhof departures are 15:28 (very early),15:48 (just slightly past on-time) and 16:08 (we've left without you). If you're feeling creative there are about 30 other ways to get there by connecting in either Giesing or Neuperlach Sud.

Run #419

Put your Easter Bonnets on or dust off the bunny ears, you will need them for the hash trail this coming weekend.
March 22, 15:00 at Daglfing Sbahn in the east side parking lot.

R*n 418

Oh, it'll be swell, it'll be great!!  Shirty is going to lay a live trail this Saturday at 15:00, at the corner of Arnulfstr. and Grasserstr.  This incredibly convenient location can be reached via every S-bahn that there is, or trams 16 or 17.  On after will be at the Augustinerkeller.  For those who've bought tickets to the Starkbierfest, this means that you'll be heading deep underground for a fantastic party.  For everyone else, this means you'll be upstairs drinking the same beer, eating the same food, but with different people.  We'll be starting right here.

Rehash ½ marathon no. 417 aka Funny hat r*n, 23rd Feb 2008

RA did a
splendid job with the weather, we were in t-shirts not a cloud in the sky, just
the perfect day for a hash.

Where to lay a trail

Gosh, I've been as busy as someone who hasn't got much else to do.
I've created a second forum, this time for people to put ideas for good hash trails.
Just look in the Forums section.

Haring best practices - a guide for newbies and dummies

I've added some advice to the Forums on  haring.
That's right, we have forums on this site.
Have a look at it if you are considering haring. Or if you are experienced (um, in haring) see if you can add advice.
