So we met up at Riem, home of the best racing track on the world, so Loose Nutz informed us. Was cold but sunny, and a reasonably sized pack turned out. Our hares, Loose Nutz and Slap Head poetically informed us of the calk talk, roses are red, violets are blue, most poems rhyme. Slap Heads didn’t. Much. Anyway the confused pack started off in all sorts of directions, I was willing to go with the runners but our trail was false, so I gave up and followed Loose Nutz who had the walkers. He lost us a few times, first of all he told us to gaze at a golden willy, whilst we were doing what we were told, he snuck off. Then he lost us again, But we soon found him and took our places to watch the races. The horses took their time warming up, standing around, waiting but then they were off, with Maximus in the lead, closely followed by Shut Up and Bend Over , Edel Vice’s horse struggled and collapsed. Probably It was a close finish, in that they all crossed the line at the same time. So Edel Vice and Ruggie won for being second. Us walkers admired yet another willy then we came to the circle.
